Nashville Weddings - Houston Station

It seems like there is a new venue being announced in Nashville every month. As wedding photographers we are always excited to shoot in new locations. A new venue challenges us to push our wedding photography and think creatively. While we always welcome a new location, there are some we would say are our favorite venues for wedding photography in Nashville. Huston Station is right at the top of our list of our favorites.

Houston Station is an amazing venue in Nashville. We were so thrilled to join Jake and Brittani on their wedding day at this beautiful and historic site. Houston Station was designed to be a bride's best friend. Every room gives you a perfect background for memorable pictures. Jake and Brittani put a lot of time and effort into this elegant event, and it shows in the overall look that we captured. We can't wait to photograph another wedding at Houston Station!

Jenna and Mark

We met up with Jenna and Mark in Hillsborro Village for their engagement shoot. They both went to Vanderbilt, and loved the idea of having their photography done near the campus. They were an absolutely amazing couple. We started the shoot at the Bookman store across from the Pancake Pantry and ended the day on the Vanderbilt baseball field. They were incredibly fun to work with and were up for all of our suggestions. Couples like Jenna and Mark remind us why we love being Nashville wedding photographers.

Rebekah + David

As Nashville wedding photographers, our most important task is getting in front of brides, so they can see if our style and personalities will be a fit for their wedding. We met Rebekah and David at the Nashville Pink Bride Wedding Show in January. At the wedding show, we gave away 4 free Nashville engagement sessions, and they were one of the lucky winners. They wanted something simple and in the country. The day of the shoot was cold and rainy, but we were able to get everything we wanted before the clouds decided to let loose. They were an incredibly fun couple to work with, and we are looking forward to shooting their wedding in June.

Jon + Kaitlyn

As Nashville wedding photographers, we love a new location. Jon and Kaitlyn got married in Richmond, VA, and we were happy to go along for the experience. Their ceremony was held at the Edgar Allen Poe museum, and their reception was in an intimate little venue right in downtown Richmond. There is a rich history in Richmond that inspired us as we looked for unique shots that would highlight Jon and Kaitlyn's personalities.

Nate + Taylor

Every once in awhile we venture outside of the Nashville City limits to take photos of people dressing in fancy clothes and making vows to each other. This was one of those occasions. We met up with Nate and Taylor in Knoxville for their big day. There are two things that we learned from this experience... 1. Nate and Taylor are beautiful people who know how to plan a intimate and festive wedding and 2. Knoxville is a diverse and interesting area, if you know where to go. In between shooting we got to spend some time in the Old City, and we were very impressed. Nate and Taylor's reception was held at Calhoun's on the bank of the Tennessee River. It made for a lively reception with amazingly delicious barbecue.
